As well as causing trouble in wastewater systems, wet wipes can find their way into oceans. Along with other types of plastic pollution, they can cause long-term problems for sea creatures and the marine environment. Wet wipes made up more than 90% of the material causing sewer blockages that Water UK investigated in 2017!

However, when out and about it is not always easy to get to a tap to wash the hands of your kiddies (or indeed your own) after eating or playing.

As a family we used to rely so heavily on wet wipes to wipe the faces/hands/clothes of our boys once they had finished eating something messy or playing in mud!

Now, we simply wet our reusable, Bamboo towelling wipes at home, pop them in the wet wipe bag and take them out for the day with us instead of the pack of baby wipes we used to carry around - functional and so convenient, they will save us a lot of money over time, while signigicantly reducing our single-use waste.

Handmade locally, our unique and practical wet wipe bag has two separate pockets, one for your clean wipes and one to put your dirty ones in ready for washing once you arrive back home.

The waterproof lining ensures that once you have wet your cloths, they will stay damp in their bag without making anything else wet in your bag!

Of course, these wipes are also perfect for using when changing your baby's nappy. Simply use in conjunction with luke-warm water as an environmentally friendly alternative to baby wipes.
